Lost//Youth has entered a new era. Originally known for their electrifying blend of 90s alt-rock grit and 70s classic influence, the South African duo now turns to a more intimate, acoustic sound.

 

At the heart of the project is Alanna Joy’s crystalline, ethereal vocals - raw, emotive, and hauntingly beautiful, paired with Faghri Hendricks’ intricate guitar work, weaving modern alt-acoustic riffs with timeless nostalgia. This shift allows them to explore storytelling in its purest form, bringing a fresh vulnerability to their music while maintaining the emotional depth they have become known for. 

 

Though their sound has taken on a new form, the essence of Lost//Youth remains honest, evocative, and ever-evolving. This acoustic chapter is a new way to connect, stripping everything back to let the songs breathe. Whether this is a momentary shift or the beginning of something bigger, one thing is certain: Lost//Youth continues to create music that lingers long after the last note fades.
